Well, it has been a month since I sent my "update packet" to my four doctors here in Amarillo. As you have read two responded and two did not - 50% response rate, not bad.
I feel good about the follow-up action I took. Too often we go from doctor to doctor seeking help...and instead of leaving a trail of unanswered problems, I look at my letters as my way of sewing up the loose ends. They may not listen to us, but at least I put the information out there and on their desks!
Keep up the good fight ladies!
I will now use this blog as a way to share my details of hormone help with Dr. Hilgers office. I am currently being treated with T3, HCG shots and a few other things. Stay connected for more details....

Oh wow Nicole...what are you taking exactly from Dr. Hilgers? When I got pregnant I was taking the HCG shots and that really made a difference. I hope this is it for you then...a BFP in you future :) I'll definatley keep you in our prayers. How do you like the shots? My stomach used to bruise from them...so I am just curious how you are handling them. Best of luck!
P.s.
Thanks for the insurance tips :)
Hello,
Thank you for sharing your story! My name is Maria, I'm forty two, and I just had my second surgery (a laporoscopy) to remove endometriosis stage four on April 1st.
I have a couple of questions for you. I was wondering, are you taking any prescribed medicine or supplements to prevent the endometriosis from returning? Are you on any special endometriosis diet to prevent it from coming back? I would really love to know. Maybe we could encourage each other and exchange tips?
This is my second surgery. I was first diagnosed with endometriosis stage four in 2008 at the age of forty one. I feel now that due to this endo I will need to have surgeries every year. Do you know what I mean? However the second surgeon who just did my surgery is an endo specialist and he was recommended to me by my Napro doctor. He told my husband after the surgery that he was "aggressive" going after the endo and adhesians. I will be seeing him again for my post op appointment in about a week.
You and your husband will be in my prayers. My husband and I are hoping and praying that we will be blessed with a baby too soon! May I please ask for prayers? Thank you so much!
Hope to hear from you!

May God Bless you.

I am catching up on quite a bit here... but wanted to say YOU ROCK for sending out that letter and Dr H's CD to all those Drs!!! Recently, DH has asked me to do the same with the Dr(s) who put me on the pill as a teen for PCOS/irregular bleeding. Especially since they told me that when I came off of the pill, it would be easy for me to start a family when I was ready. Ha!
I applaud you doing this. And even if the response was not ideal, at least you got the final word, and who knows, maybe you planted some seeds :)

You are in Dallas? Well there are tons of resources in Dallas! First, if you want to contact someone concerning Creighton - Mandy Cox http://smgrcia.org/fwcreighton/contact.htm
They also have a doc there that is wonderful.
Second - the CD I am talking about is the link here on my blog - Dr. Hilgers Radio Interview. But if you would like this extra copy I have, I would be more than happy to mail it to you.
